Registering your name

Please only register for the site once. This cuts down on the amount of space and gives an accurate representation of how many members we have.
If you have a problem with your log in, attempt the Forgotten Password service or alternatively, email admins at admin@fightingwolverines.com

Forums

Please keep it as clean as possible in our forums, we are not an exclusively adult clan and aim to keep it that way. In the same sense we are not dinosaurs and would ask that swearing and stories be kept on the milder side. Any overly vulgar or crude posts shall be removed and the poster reprimanded for it.
Also, Please use the Forums Search Component if you are posting for help or to inform us of something as there may have already been a post made and this way it will save you time in typing it and us time in deleting it.

Uploads and Downloads

These sections are for registered members only. Anyone wishing to upload a file through the upload system, an image through our image hosting service or a download for others to enjoy must keep the following one rule in mind
Any Porn, gratuitous violence, racist or otherwise hurtful, offensive or illegal files or pictures will be deleted from the server and your IP and username will be banned from the site, and if necessary, reported to the authorities.

Server Rules

Conduct on [FW] Servers

We expect you to treat all admins regardless of their level or length of service with the same amount of respect you would expect yourself.
/Killing is not permitted whilst in battle or whilst poisoned, this included deliberately blowing yourself up with a nade or throwing yourself off a high place. Any other time, it's cool
Horsing around, i.e. jumping on mortars, knifing/shooting your teammates instead of playing the game is not permitted and will result in admin action being taken, this includes and is not restricted to; slapping, smiting, launching, throwing, flinging, being put in spec, kicked or banned from the server
Do not spam teamchat or any other type of text whilst at [FW], this will quickly get you muted for as long as admins see fit. Don't bother /reconnecting because the mute is permanent until an admin unmutes you. Best just to play along nicely. This doesn't mean you can't get pissed off at people, just inform an admin and we will deal with it. If you want to be an admin, then Apply Here!
Also, please use english in public chat, all our admins speak it and it is much easier for us to admin the server if we all sing from the same hymn sheet. You may speak in your native toungue in private or teamtalk chat. Admins may speak in any language they wish, usually it is to try and tell someone in their language to speak english and inform them of the rule.

Applying to Join and the Recruitment Process

Joining [FW] Is not just a case of coming on the server and putting tags on. Sorry to disappoint those of you who just want a cool tag in front of your name!
[FW] are a unit, a family that know each other inside out, and we pride ourselves in getting to know as much as we can about our members, this makes it more personal for the members and new recruits and shows we dont just care about numbers and traffic on the servers!

When you apply to join, we at [FW] will investigate your previous server movements through splatterladder to see where you play, how often you play and how long you stick to the server. This shows us how serious you are about joining the clan.
We also ask that you come into ventrilo as often as possible. Now, being in Ventrilo all the time is not necessary, several of our members really love to frag and ventrilo along with high game sounds is not good. This is understandable. But most of the time is expected. Apart from the obvious advantages of being able to talk strategy of ET whilst playing, it is to talk with the admins who are on and get to know us and vice versa. It is ESSENTIAL you have ventrilo installed and use it frequently while applying for the [FW] Clan Tag.

Once your application is submitted and we have watched you and got to know you, a poll will be put to full time clan members only. Cadets do not get to vote on this process. Successful applicants will then be instructed by a server manager or if none is available, a high ranking admin, to put on their tags and your corrosponding level will be set on the server and in ventrilo. The clan tag is [ & ] in black and FW in between in a colour of your choice. The period of probation, is referred to as Cadet level and this will be for a period of no less than 30 days. This period is put in place to allow you time to get to know us better and gives you time to change your mind. It also gives us the chance to revoke your membership, should we see fit. In this time, you should be on as much as you can to show your willingness to be a part of our family. At the end of those 30 days, your full membership status will be awarded, full forum access will be awarded, including the chance to vote on new members.
